Britney Spears has thanked her fans for their support and for helping free her from the conservatorship she was under.

Last week, on Wednesday, September 28, an LA Superior Court judge ruled to suspend Jamie Spears control as conservator over his daughter’s affairs.

The ruling came after a lengthy-battle between Britney and her father, who she wanted to have removed as conservator.

In a video posted to her Twitter, Britney described the feelings she had not long after the ruling.

“I have no words because of you guys and your constant resilience in freeing me from my conservatorship. My life is now in that direction!!!!,” she said.

“I cried last night for two hours cause my fans are the best and I know it. I feel your hearts and you feel mine… that much I know is true,” she added.

The #FreeBritney movement, which started on social media in 2019 by a small group of fans, grew significantly over the course of this year after a number of high-profile celebrities showed their support for Britney.
