President Yoweri Museveni released the much-awaited cabinet list

He appointed the retired Major Jessica Alupo as the new DP whereas former state minister for health in charge of general duties, Robinah Nabbanja as the PM

He also appointed general Katumba Wamala Minister of Works and Transport

President Yoweri Museveni has appointed retired major Jessica Alupo as the new deputy president of Uganda.

The Ugandan president appointed Alupo alongside cabinet ministers who will work in his administration for the next five years.

“I hereby inform the country that by virtue of the authority given to the President of Uganda by Articles: 108(2), 108A(1), 113(1) and 114(1) of the 1995 Constitution of the Republic of Uganda, I hereby appoint H.E. the Vice President, Rt. Prime Minister, Cabinet Ministers and other Ministers as indicated below,” Museveni said.

Among the appointed cabinet ministers is general Katumba Wamala who recently escaped death after being shot by the assassins, he has been appointed Minister of Works and Transport.
