The president of Angola, João Lourenço, has sacked the head of his security team, Pedro Sebastião.

He also sacked defence secretary and the head of military intelligence.

No reasons were given for the sackings.

The dismissals come weeks after an army official was detained while trying to leave the country with millions in foreign currency.
