The 2019 presidential candidates of the All Progressive Congress (APC); President Muhammadu Buhari, met with representatives of Manufactures Association of Nigeria, Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises  on Saturday 9th February in Lagos shortly before attending the APC presidential campaign rally in Lagos.

The president affirmed with the members of the Business Community that he had fulfilled his promises in boosting the economy, block leakages in government finances as well as other economical growth.

During the meeting, he stated the importance of investing in infrastructure so as to promote development in the country.

We recall the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar, who had earlier met with the Business Community in Lagos last month, at an interactive session where he unveiled his plans to promote Nigeria economy before he left for the United States (U.S) to meet with the Nigeria business community in the U.S.

These acts by the PDP and APC 2019 presidential candidates have shown that business plays a vital role in the growth of Nigeria.

In few days, who becomes Nigerian next president will be revealed. However, it is remarkable that they are both interested in the business sector which plays a major role in the growth of Nigerian economy.
