10-Year-Old British-Nigerian Genius Studying Maths in University
Africa today is known to the world for many incredible things, some of which are innovations from individuals.
Individuals in Africa are doing well for themselves and also touching the lives of individuals around them at a young age.
Some of these individuals are Genius, and they are sharing their knowledge to the rest of the world.
They are young but still making a great difference.
British-Nigerian youngster Esther Okade who lives with her parents in Walsall, in the UK’s West Midlands region is currently studying for her undergraduate degree in mathematics at age 10.
Age they say is just a number, and it seems so in this situation as though young Esther Okade is still topping her class.
Esther enrolled at UK-based distance learning college, the Open University and scored 100% in an exam shortly after joining the institution, CNN stated in a Report.
she told CNN, “It’s so interesting. It has the type of maths I love. Its real maths; theories, complex numbers, all that type of stuff. It was super easy. My mum taught me in a nice way.”
According to Esther’s mother, she noticed her daughter’s love for numbers shortly after starting home-schooling her at the age of three.
Initially, she had been enrolled in a private school but after a few weeks, her parents noticed a change in her behavior, as she had no love for the school cause she was not granted access to air her views.
Esther was already tackling algebra and quadratic equations, by age four (4).
Esther further banished any thoughts that her parents pushed her to start university early. She pointed out that she had wanted to enroll for her degree even earlier.
Her love for numbers, brought about her wish to own a bank at age 15.
Esther is also writing a series of math books for children titled ‘Yummy Yummy Algebra.’
“It starts at a beginner level; that’s volume one. But then there will be volume two, and volume three, and then volume four. But I’ve only written the first one.
“As long as you can add or subtract, you’ll be able to do it. I want to show other children they are special,” she concluded.
“Genius sees the answer, before the question”
